Size the trade before you take it.

Decide what you are willing to lose first. The number of shares follows from it.

Enter your Capital, entry and stop-loss. The size appears here.

Sizing is one rule.

The Swing Trading Program teaches the rest of the process, live, over ten weeks. New to markets? Trading 1.0 starts from the ground up.

How the number is made.

This is a fixed-fraction model: you risk the same share of your Capital on every trade, so the quantity shrinks when the stop is wide and grows when it is tight.

A stock can open below your stop after news or a weekend. When it does, the loss is larger than the Amount at Risk. Quantity is also capped so the position never costs more than your Capital.

The calculator remembers your Capital and Risk per Trade in this browser only. Nothing is sent anywhere. Your trades remain your own decisions.
